Young Tom, having discovered Charing Village, makes his way to Westminster. He stares in awe at the massive and majestic palace, with its sprawling wings, towers, and gilded gates guarded by men in shining armor. Filled with hope, Tom joins the crowd of country folk and city people, all waiting for a chance glimpse of royalty, and wonders if his dream of seeing a real prince will finally come true.
